When show Keyword HUD is selected, the HUD itself will stay on screen until Scrivener is minimized.
This means if you use alt+tab or click on a new window on the start bar to switch to another program etc, the HUD will stay on the screen (unless show desktop is selected).
If you then use the close button on the HUD, Scrivener will then maximise.
i tried this out just to see what Saijanman was talking about, and got similar results when i still have scrivener up in the back ground but i didn’t have problems exiting the HUD or getting it to go away when the program was minimized.
ha yeah i was trying to say i got that part about the HUD staying up front but not the thing with exiting the HUD maximizing Scrivener. i didnt word it very well though
