I find the corkboard in Scrivener extremely useful, but would love to be able to add more than one label to each index card - so that the same index card could appear in the same position on more than one of the coloured threads.
If each label represents a character, and two characters appear in a scene, then I would like the index card for that scene to be visible on the ‘timeline’ threads for both those characters. That would make it easier to view the timelines for each character .
Thanks for the feedback. The feature that is closest to what you are looking for is called “Keywords”. You will find them described in summary in §10.4.1, Metadata Types, which is a good section to reference when looking for better or new ways to organise things. The subsection on keywords (pg. 246) contains cross-references to how this feature can be applied and made use of. Note there is a visualisation option for the corkboard. (Note if you’re using the Windows beta, as might be indicated by your forum platform tag, you’ll need to download the Mac manual to see what I’m talking about.)
As for changing labels to work more like keywords, that isn’t in the cards (no pun intended), sorry to say.
