Suddenly it makes sense:
Pigfender: Iām speechless.
Thank you for your generosity, I was surprised and genuinely moved.
(Thanks also for the subsequent link to the bobcat cactus, which then led to the bobcat series, which further led to a happy 20 minutes browsing TheOatMeal)
Victoria: If Pigfenderās ticket wins a prize then I would like, in turn, to donate it to a student in need. I know that here in Australia it is becoming increasingly difficult for tertiary students to make ends meet. Some of my colleagues and undergraduate students struggle far more than I, hence a paper book for pleasure (many students donāt have e-readers or smart phones) or a Scrivener licence for writing would be a boon to them. Iām sure the same applies to students in other parts of the world (hence the need for the Clarion Foundation in the first place).
What a world this is. Sometimes, good things happen.
Hey nom!
Your preference (on behalf of your recipient) has been noted. If pigfenderās is a winning ticket I will arrange with you how to get the prize to your recipient.
