(LaTeX) Why does \citep appear?

Hello all,

when I write [#somewhat] I get in the compiled version always a “\citep{somewhat}” command. Why? I expected “\cite{somewhat}”?

MultiMarkdown does this. You can insert a macro in the preamble to change it to \cite, see for example
