Left-Aligned text at center of screen when zooming in-out

I have an issue I need to correct. I have Scrivener 3.

I use zoom in and zoom out a lot. Unfortunately, Scrivener 3 improperly moves my text to the center. Scrivener 1.9 by comparison, correctly left my text where it was and changed only the size (not location) of text.

How do I make it behave correctly?

This tripped me up when I started using the beta. I think you need to disable “Use fixed width editor”
file->options->appearance->main editor
Once applied, you’ll need to restart Scrivener.
