I am using the incomplete dark mode, but I think this bug appears in the regular mode too. If I open a document with several footnotes and select one of those footnotes by clicking the linked text in the Editor, a gray selection box appears around the footnote in the Inspector. However, if I then uncheck the box next to the title of one of the footnotes in the Inspector and then try to click on the link of a different footnote in the Editor, the gray box no longer appears around the chosen footnote in the Editor. Or rather, the box appears, but it is so faint/dark-colored that you can’t see which footnote has been selected in the Inspector. The same problem exists when you uncheck Comments in the Inspector. I’m almost positive this problem can be triggered in other ways than unchecking comments and footnotes, but this is the way I found to consistently recreate it…
Personally I don’t think the color of the box around the selected footnote in the Inspector should ever change. I really like the bold, bright gray selection box for dark mode. Thanks!
