Perhaps this is part of the fact that the compiler isn’t fully functional yet, but just in case you didn’t notice yet: files chosen from front- or backmatter are not compiled when exporting als doc or epub.

Thanks! I had chalked this up to “not yet implemented” because it doesn’t seem to compile no matter what the output format was to be.
