I’d like Scrivener to open PDFs to fit the width of the Editor by default. Is this possible? At present, the only way I can do this is to manually goto View > Zoom > Fit Width each time, although Scrivener remembers my choice for each PDF. Thanks.
I think it is set per project, not just per PDF (I could be wrong). Some of the settings in View->PDF Display are toggles and stick between sessions.
EDIT: Nope, I’m wrong. You have to set it per PDF, but that sticks. You can also right-click inside the PDF “editor/display” pane and adjust the size (zoom in or out) and that also sticks. I don’t see any other way to set the default display options for PDFs.
Yeah, it seems like it’s not possible to set this as a default.
This is on the list, so that the the zoom/size setting is remembered per editor for PDFs, the same way the text zoom is remembered.
Cool! That would be very helpful.
Thank you! But, please make the default setting propagate to each and every new project and not just be project specific. Thanks.
