Using Beta 23 on Win 7 Pro.
Under certain circumstances, using the Corkboard causes Scrivener to lock/freeze. In this particular case, when the Corkboard has 16 documents displayed in it, Sciv will lock. This issue seems to be extremely dependent on the screen layout, corkboard sizing, and monitor resolution. The specific constraints are listed below.
CONSTRAINTS (if not met, Scriv does not lock)
Monitor must be set for 1440 x 900
Scriv program window must be maximized
Must be in Three Pane Layout / Inspector must be closed
Corkboard options must be as in screenshot. (E.g., if I change the Card Ratio, then Scriv does not lock)
Confirmed this on multiple monitors. Hopefully you can replicate using the example project attached.
To recreate:
- Meet all constraints listed above, particularly screen resolution
- Open example project
- Indent doc 16 so that it is under Folder.
- Select Folder in Corkboard mode
- Beta will lock.
Please let me know if I can provide any other info that will help.
Best,
Jim
