Hi,
Using RC5, I tried searching for the string kid’s in my manuscript, but it came up as “Not Found”. On further investigation, it can’t find any string containing an apostrophe.

This has been reported before [url][LH4291] Words with apostrophes do not show in search results. - #2 by jje]. The problem is that Scrivener thinks smart (curly/typographic) quotes and the ’ (straight quote) are different. You can get round it by typing the curly quote character in the search box (Alt-0145) or use Regex (a period/full stop = any character, so if you have a mix of smart and “dumb” quotes, use Regex to search for kid.s)
Thanks for the reply, regex seems like a good workaround. Anyway, glad it’s on the bug fix radar.
