[LH4569] Launching a second Scrivener instance results in confusing error message

With Scrivener already open and then attempting to launch another instance, either via start menu/shortcut, middle click on the Scrivener task bar button, or right click on the Scrivener task bar button and choosing “Scrivener” from the context menu, a message box with the following text appears:

Cannot open project within the Scrivener installation folder.

Please, close Scrivener and move your project folder outside of the Scrivener installation folder. After moving the project you will be able to load the project as usual from its new location.

Project folder: “C:/Program Files/Scrivener/Scrivener.exe”
Scrivener folder: "C:/Program Files/Scrivener

The existing Scrivener window is then activated, nothing else happens.

Thanks, this has been filed. Scrivener isn’t designed to have multiple instances of the program running, so what should happen here is just that the currently open window receives focus, without any error messages. Opening a separate project can be done via File > Open, double-clicking the project’s .scrivx file from File Explorer, or selecting it from the Recents list when right-clicking Scrivener’s icon in the task bar.
