If you create a snapshot with the same name and try to delete the old name snapshot both snapshots will be deleted.
In my example, I use 1-Test 1 and 1-Test 1

I can see the same thing, but when I had three snapshots with the same name only the two with the same time stamp got deleted. The one stamped a minute later survived. Were there any actual changes between your two snapshots?
