I am finding Scrivener very helpful in developing my novel.
I’ve replaced some sections and put the old ones into the junk folder. I get my word count from clicking on “manuscript.”
I am using the novel format in v 3.0.1.0.
However, the manuscript word count still includes the junk pieces. I’ve tested that by cutting them into a Word document.
Is there any way the word count can be limited to the actual project rather than including the junk and background info, please?
Otherwise they are of limited use and I’ll have to keep them outside. SCrivener.
