linking into scrivener

It would be great if there was a way scrivener could provide links that could be pasted into other applications that would take you back to scrivener pages and better even words on pages.

I love scrivener and am also a big fan of curio. In curio I can copy an object as a link and past that link into scrivener and it will take me back to the correct page in curio it would be fantastic to have it be a two way street.

Also I would love it if there could be more integration in general between these two application. For me it would create the ultimate idea development and writing space.

If two programs ever really got talking to each other it would potentially make for a great marriage.

Didn’t Nisus software create something called LinkBack? From what I remember it allowed you to create links in a document that would open the embedded object for editing in the appropriate application - eg images would open in Photoshop. I don’t think it was specific to Nisus Writer but was available for any other application to use as well.

It never caught on, perhaps because of the need for both applications to support it, but it might be worth a look.
