Hi:

How can I create a hyperlink from a word to it’s definition in the glossary, which link will appear in the compiled manuscript?

Hi,

You would have to have each entry in the glossary as a separate text file for this to work, seeing as you cannot link to sections within documents. For that, you would have to deal with this in an external program after compiling.

Keeping each glossary entry in a separate item is handy, anyway. This is what I do for projects that need one. Reason being: I can just haphazardly throw terms in there while working. At the conclusion, prior to compiling, I’ll then use Documents/Sort/ to get them all in order. Combine this with [[ + ‘word’ + ]] wiki style links (in Corrections preference tab), and it’s quite easy to both make new terms and establish links to existing ones.
