Liveblogging Scrivener On MacBreak Weekly

As we speak – literally as I write this – both Merlin Mann and Andy Ihnatko (two very serious Mac guys in the States) are RAVING about Scrivener on the MacBreak Weekly podcast. I’m saying RAVING… As in GUSHING… As in “if I was going to get a tattoo, I have three in front of it but the fourth would be the Scrivener icon.”… And now Merlin is talking about “roundtripping” from Scriv to OmniOutliner and back to Scriv through MulitMarkdown (? – too heady for me) And now they’re talking about doing a whole show dedicated to Scrivener…

Look for the podcast to be posted tomorrow on iTunes. Or google Macbreak Weekly. It’s at close to the two hour (!) mark on the 23 Feb show.

(I know, I should be working. But in my defense, I’m cleaning the house.)

I listen to MacBreak Weekly in the shower

I have an odd affection for the show. It is, admittedly, nerdy-to-the-point-of-dorky, but endearingly so.

Anyway, Keith, you should think about either embedding or linking a portion of today’s show. It’s an insanely positive review, and a very concise description of just how simple it is to begin using Scrivener, and how robust that use becomes over time. They post the video of the show on YouTube.

Blimey, that is a rather brilliant pod cast with amazing praise for Merlin Mann and Andy Ihnatko. I have e-mailed them to thank them as that is high praise indeed.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

All the best,
Keith
