Apologies if this has been asked previously (I have searched).
Is there a way to lock the Binder schema? A couple of times when scrolling up or down I have inadvertently ‘grabbed’ a document, dumping it into another place (and not knowing it has happened). Also I see a danger of accidental deletion when rushing through my work or being distracted.
No, there’s not a way to prevent moving items in the binder. When an item is deleted, however, it simply moves to the Trash folder within the project, so it would be very difficult to completely wipe a document from the project–you’d need to first move it to the Trash, and then choose “Empty Trash” from the binder context menu or the Project menu, and then click OK on the confirmation.
