I tried to log in and add to a topic. It took at least five minutes to get a response. I was able to log in, but when I tried to post, this happened:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@literatureandlatte.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Speaking of the content of that message, do you happen to know roughly when it happened? Just to put a sense of scale into this, today’s error log is far too big to manually scan through by hand. So even a rough time would help a lot.
Generally though, the forum software sometimes just hiccups. It probably has to do with the connexion to the database, or there might be too many people trying to access something at once, so you got left with the broken end of that barrage. In most cases, if the forum doesn’t load within a few seconds, you can retry. You don’t have to wait five minutes.
No problem, and if it happens again, let me know. I monitor the webmaster address and will attempt to debug whatever happened—but it’s probably just “one of those things”.
