Lost Tab Settings and Sluggish Response

Hello. I deleted all the text from a file–one of the scenes in the standard novel template–and when I started retyping the material, the default tab setting had disappeared for some reason. The only workaround is to use the spacebar to move over to the correct location. The tab settings seem to be working OK in other files. Anything I can do to fix this other than to delete the scene completely and start over again? I’d like to avoid that because it would mean recreating the notes, index card, etc.

Also, the program seems very sluggish. Could be a lack of available memory, I suppose. I’m running Windows XP SP3 with 2 gigs of physical memory (about 1.2 gigs available memory with other running applications). Does Scrivener require a lot of memory? I’m on version 1.0.2.

I am not sure how your tabs got lost, that shouldn’t happen, but at any rate you can reset the tabs to default with the Documents/Convert/Formatting to Default Text Style menu command.
