Mac PC Windows Laptop

I usually write on my iMac, however, I am currently away from home and would like to get some work done. I tried opening my document and was given a message saying that my Scrivener file was created on a more recent version and that it could not be opened. I tried checking for updates and my windows version is the most up to date software.

Is there a more recent version of Windows Scrivner that I am unaware of? Or a way to get around the version problem?

Download and install the beta of Scrivener 3 for Windows, and you should be good to go. A lot of people are using it without problems, but keep in mind it is a beta, so be cautious and clever and be sure your project is safe somewhere else, like on your iMac and backups.

There are several threads in the forum about how Scriv 3 for the Mac is not compatible with the current version for Windows, how the Windows beta versions are, and the anticipated availability of commercial Scrivener 3 for Windows.
