Mac to iOS

I recently purchased the iPad version of Scrivener. Now I’m trying to figure out how to open my mac project on the iPad. I send it over as an email attachment. There was an option to open it with Scrivener but it doesn’t show up when I do. What’s the trick here?

Either use Dropbox or sync via iTunes. It’s all explained in the tutorial that’s includes in Scrivener for iOS.

With a Mac, you can often use AirDrop to copy the project over to the iPad easily enough, I’d give that a try as it is by far the easiest method to use.

iTunes works, and it is free, but there may be better alternatives out there. Some programs even let you view your iPad on your Mac as an external drive of sorts, making it easy to use Finder or even third-party file sync programs to manage your projects. As with all things of this nature, it is important to test them before trusting them with your files.
