I tried the search, but did not find a solution:
How can I make or mark typed text as footnote when in full screen mode?
Is there a shortcut? I don’t see a menu option, and right click does not bring the option either.
Any ideas?

When you do not work in full screen mode you find the shortcut for footnotes – shift+cmd+f – right behind the menu item Text/Footnote.
It also works in full screen mode.
Plus, in full screen the menu appears if you place the cursor at the top of the screen.
