Insert> The Insert sub-menu provides a wide variety of elements that you can insert into text fields. These will be placed at the current cursor position. Note that some of these insert invisible characters which control the flow of your document, you may not see anything happen unless you have View>Show Invisibles enabled.
I don’t see this under the View menu; only under Format>options.
