I did a quick search but didn’t find this being reported. When I open a manuscript I’m working on the text in a chapter, someones the first sentence, other times all the text in a scene, is highlighted as if I did a Select All. While not a showstopper it’s kind of annoying.
Is this a known issue and, if so, any plans to fix it?
Are you seeing this when going back and forth between Mac and Windows? Scrivener normally should remember the location of the insertion point and any selection you had in a document, so that when you reload that document you’re brought back to the last place you were working. This doesn’t work perfectly at the moment going between the two different platforms, however, so you’ll often find the text of a document you viewed on a Mac is all selected when opened on Windows, and so on. We’re hoping we’ll be able to smooth this out a bit more in the future, but for now I’m afraid there’s not really a workaround to the issue.
