mathtype equations while they appear fine in the editor, when I switch to compose mode, they suddenly go blank. I literally cannot see them. please let me know what I can do to fix this.
Are you using a dark background in Composition? That would explain it, if so, as MathType equations are black vector shapes on a transparent background.
yup I am. will change the background accordingly then. Although I hope in future iterations of your product, that this is changed. I quite like the black background.
I’m pretty sure there is no way to do that on a temporary basis. It is literally a bunch of black filled polygons in a PDF canvas at that point, and not even text (not that recolouring text inside of embedded PDF files would be any faster or easier).
