May you never become more complex. Scriviner leads in the art of simplicity, and Scrapple looks like it does, too. I can’t pretend to know about all the extras Scrivener offers, but as a straightforward writing tool it’s unbeatable.

Simplicity is an artform. What you leave out is just as important as what you put in.
For example:
That vic-k guy is really … simple. Granted that Jaysen character makes him look like blooming Einstein.
