With a media file open in the other editor, ⌘← and ⌘→ no longer jump to the beginning/end of the line,
and ⌘⇧← and ⌘⇧→ no longer select text. Instead these start rewind or start fast forward and that not just by a few seconds, as View > Media > Rewind does, but until playback is stopped.
While Rewind can be helpful, it’s far more helpful to be able to jump to start/end of a line.
Also, since navigation/selection is the usual behavior in both TextEdit and Scrivener, I find myself frequently starting an unintended rewind or fast forward and then scrambling for the keys to stop it.
Is there a way to jump to start (etc.) while a media file is open in the other editor?
