It seems that documents can be split while using Scrivener’s full screen view, but they can’t be merged. Any chance that highlighting across the boundary between two documents could allow those two documents to be merged, perhaps for a future update?
Merge only works with the binder or selected documents in the corkboard or outliner. I don’t rule it out for a future update, but nothing is planned at the moment.
