This is sort of a cross-post from https://forum.literatureandlatte.com/t/toc-shenanigans/17949/1 but I’m starting to think there’s a bug somewhere. No matter what I try, I cannot get Scrivener to output a link to my cover or the TOC in the back of my book in a .mobi file. Even though it shows them as links within Scrivener itself.
Seems busted, and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
Is the cover included as a separate document in the book? What document is the link to? If you are linking to the cover image graphic, that won’t work, as the cover image is not included in that way. However, the best thing to do at this stage would be to zip up the project and send it to mac.support AT literatureandlatte DOT com, with a quick recap of which documents in the project you are expecting to see links for but which are not working, so that we can take a look.
Alternatively, please post screenshots here of the following:
The files in the binder with those that aren’t showing up in links highlighted.
The “Contents” and “Separators” panes of Compile.
All the best,
