MMD/Miktex (windows) asks for a file?

I’ve installed MMD 3.6 and MikTex 2.9 on Windows 7. I’ve put the Latex support files in C:\Program Files (x86)\MiKTeX 2.9\tex\latex\mmd, as i figured from the installation instructions for Mac paired with the Latex file structure mentioned in Wikipedia.

I created a simple project from the manuscript template, set MMD output to manuscript,

Now, pdflatex gives me the following message:

The required file tex\latex\memoir\memoir.cls is missing It is a part of the following package: memoir

And a request to located from where to install this package.

What’s wrong? Is it:

A: a problem with my MMD installation?
B: a problem with my MikTex installation?

and, how to fix this?

This is most probably a problem of your MikTeX installation.

Start the MikTeX package manager, look for the “memoir” package and intall it.
