.mobi file is justified, want left-justified

Okay, I’m officially confused. Unofficially, I’m bewildered.

I’m compiling to .mobi my sixth book (I think), and when I open it in my Kindle app (in Windows and Android), it’s fully justified instead of left-justified.

I looked at previous books and they’re left-justified. I looked through their Compile settings but don’t see a difference. In the Compile window on the Formatting tab, the Text shows left-justified.

Inside the Kindle app’s settings, alignment is grayed out (can’t select it) and it says Justified. So even inside Kindle I can’t switch it to left-justified.

Any clue as to how I un-justify the .mobi compile?
