Modifying compile format

I have a short prologue (1 short paragraph) which I want to place above “Chapter One”. How can I add this to just chapter one without it appearing above every chapter heading? I also do not want to include the image I use for each chapter (just for chapter one)

I’m using version 3.3.6 (16305)

Thanks for the help.

Not tried it myself but if I wanted that then I’d put the prologue as the last item in Front Matter.

That’s one way. But you can also simply create a text item above the chapter one folder in the Binder.

If you don’t do a synopsis at Chapter level you could write the short piece in there and switch on Synopsis for Chapter headers in your compile format designer. If there is content, compile will use it. If there nothing, nothing will be included and it won’t use a blank space either.

Your suggestion Kevitec57 was spot on! Worked like a champ.

Thanks to everyone who responded.
