Momentum...

I just cannot help myself. To be productive I know that I should be banging on the keys, but there I go again, revising and changing, fiddling and editing. There is a trial out on a program called Momentum, and this really needs to be stolen and incorporated into Scriv. A full screen editor (we have I know) with the typewriter function and… No backspace or editing facility at all. The idea is to produce words, sentences and to keep moving forward. I like, very much. Keith, steal it and put it in Scriv.
While we are on the idea grab, could Scrivener have the setting from the text editor Q10, the one that allows a distance (in pixels) to be set from the top of the monitor screen to the start of the text. The typewriter mode we have is good, but I have a large monitor and on full screen edit I have to strain my aged neck up until the text reaches the middle of my screen. Drag Lee off the beach and let him go pale like the rest of us…

If you have an equivalent of Keyboard Maestro in windows, you can define any shortcut for the backspace key. I have inadvertently trapped my backspace key, stopping me from doing any editing.
