Hello. I would like to have more General Meta-Data drop downs in addition to Label and Status.
I would like to add characters, POV, items and much more stuff to keep track of what is in each scene. Ideally, it would all be tracked and put on a timeline, but from what I’ve read, that doesn’t sound like it’s going to happen.
Is this possible?
You can change “Label” and “Status” to “PoV” or anything else if you don’t use them for label or status at the moment. Other than that, there are plans for customisable meta-data for the future (something the Mac version already has, although not as drop downs). As you note, there are no plans for a timeline, however, as this would not be something that could be mapped against Scrivener’s hierarchical structure (please see the various threads on this for more information).

Thank you. I look forward to the Windows version of this feature. I did play around with editing label and status, but I want to use additional information also.
Hopefully this makes it into the next update for the Windows version.
I can say for sure that it won’t be in the next update, sorry. This was a Scrivener 2.0 feature, so it will be a little further down the line before it makes it into the Windows version.
