More options when errors encountered

I recently received the following unexpected error while writing - I was not closing the project at the time.

There was a problem saving the project ‘my-filenamehere.scriv’.
Not all recent edits could be saved. Files that could be recovered have been saved to /Users/me/Documents/my-filenamehere.scriv Recovered. The project will now close.

Apparently, the networked storage location I was using was temporarily unavailable.

It would be nice in this instance to have a “Try Saving Again” option.

Additionally, it would be helpful to have instructions on how to re-import the recovered files into the project.

Thanks!

It’s not a common thing to happen. To re-import, just drag to the binder. You will unfortunately have to sift through everything and work out what’s what though, but if the project file has been swiped out from behind Scrivener’s back - as it has in this case - then it’s rather difficult for Scrivener to know what’s what any more. At least it recovers your work.

Thanks,
