Movie Draft SE

Have a care Mr B. Young Mick, of Movie Draft SE, is a frequent visitor to this thread. We don’t want to disillusion/pervert a tender young mind, with your profanity, even though it is typical Scrivenerese.

It would be a crying shame to see him end up like young Kevin…a crying shame.
Remember, Mr B…moderation in all things.
Fluff

I like how my name has been changed to Mick in the course of this thread. I’m hoping that by next week it’ll have reached Maximus, or at the very least, Mork.

Or is it Mick as my surname is O’Neill?

The plot thickens.

Dun dun duuuun.

Mick McMaximus III

Think y’self lucky young ‘n’, that the mousehound hasn’t christened you, Mindy!
Vic.

Blimey. July last year, really? Well, I’m not sure if I should be posting into this old thread or if I should start a new one, but as I’m just putting what I’m thinking down through the keyboard to the screen like a mad man thinking aloud, I guess I’d better continue in this thread anyway.

Well, firstly, Hello! Yes, I’m still alive and at… long… last… my website is FINALLY finished:

moviedraft.com/us/forum/welc … eal-world/

This post may explain my absence from civilisation as we know it and why it took so long to get released:

moviedraft.com/us/forum/time … y-fingers/

Secondly, (hang on, I think that should be thirdly. Thirdly? Is that even a word?) there is now also a Movie Draft for Windows available:

moviedraft.com/us/forum/movi … -released/

And a beta programme:

moviedraft.com/us/forum/movi … d-windows/

And, lastly, if you were one of the people who wanted to run Movie Draft on a Mac that was older than 10.6.6, you now can providing you download it from my website as opposed to the Mac App Store as it should work on 10.4.11 or above and it’s Universal Binary.

Right, I had better go and tackle some of the bugs that have been, er… “found”.

All the best,

Mark.

Sean, re: Movie Draft - I am brand new to any forum really, but was compelled to hang around after help from Andreas. After reading your impressions of Movie Draft, and Movie Draft Mark’s obvious show of support, and acceptance of your tag, by the way, I went and watched the initial video. I love it. Unfortunately I have only been writing the last 2 or 3 years, and publishing nothing, so my focus now must be the business end of this, and putting at least 2 books on the market, which is bothersome.

During that time spent writing however, I have what I have convinced myself, is bits and pieces of a very promising screenplay, but for a long time didn’t have, what’s that stuff called? Oh yeah,… friggin’ electricity! I wrote on scrap paper, old envelopes, paper towels and such, and really want to organize it after I put something up for sale, to dig myself from homelessness, and git me sum 'lectricity. I’ve dabbled with a couple programs since, but most seem to be too complicated to get me on track. Mark’s Scene List flexibility, will be key to me organizing scattered thoughts, dialogue and notes, somewhat like sorting a spreadsheet, not that I don’t like what else I saw. Movie Draft is what I will undoubtedly use,… you know,… when I get some,… what’s that stuff called? Anyway, nice job Mark,… which, by the way,… is also my middle name.

Let me add one more thing. I might be new,… well,… not new,… butt new to this game,… but I know good design when I see it. That’s why I like Scrivener, and I’m on this here Scrivener site, and why I am quite certain I will dig Movie Draft. Thanks for bringing it up Sean.

Quite Sincerely,

Goulash,
