I am working on a series, and I’ve decided to move 18k words from one book to another. Each book is its own Scrivener file.
I don’t see a way to copy this collection of scenes into another instance of Scrivener. It looks like I’ll have to copy the text and then redo scene breaks, card summaries, labels, etc. again. Is this correct?
Open both Scrivener projects, arrange them so that the binder in the destination project is visible with the source project on top of it.
Select the files in the source project (CTRL-clicking each one, or select the 1st and shift-click the last to select everything in between), then drag them to the other project’s binder.
This will make a copy of your documents and their notes, synopses, and most other meta-data associated with them.
