Moving the Scapple Board

Hello!

Is there a way to move the Scapple board? That is to say, is there a way that the center of the canvas can be moved (like holding the H-key to get the Handtool in, say, InDesign). I need it because I often work with the outline of a large document, and move in between various chapters as I lay out my ideas.

The only workaround I can find is to press the z key, or to zoom in and out. But it is a bit cumbersome.

I love version 1.3, and expect to be using Scapple much more from now on. The overhaul of Scrivener is fantastic. Any help would be appreciated.(And if “move around canvas” is not a feature now, I would definitely like you to add it to my wish list.: A suggestion is that the Alt-key could function like this, when you left-click and drag canvas [and not on notes and backgrounds].)

Thanks!

It’s the same as InDesign I’m sure, and most of Adobe’s software and illustration/graphics/etc. programs: hold down the spacebar.

The z key is for something else entirely—jump navigation between two distant points on a large board, where painstakingly panning between the points at a 1:1 scale would be a bit cumbersome.

Ai, of course it’s the spacebar! That is the best option too.

This works well. And thanks so much for a prompt reply!
