Multimarkdown export to Latex: Change to "Article" format?

Hi,

when one exports text from scrivener to latex using mmd, the default document format the text is set in is the latex “book” document type. does anyone know how to change this within scrivener to the document type “article”?

Hi,

May be this blog post could point you toward the right direction:

He uses a latex preamble that he includes which contains the document class instruction.

Hope this helps.

Are you using MMD2 (built into Scrivener) or have you installed MMD3?

mmd2

Okay, easier answer then. In MMD2 all you need to do is add a “LaTeX XSLT” key to your compile meta-data settings. In the text field for this key, type in article.xslt and then run another compile. Just a note, this still uses the Memoir class, but the Memoir class is extremely flexible, and the result you see will not be too dissimilar from the vanilla LaTeX Article class. Meanwhile you get all of the fancy stuff that Memoir provides, if you so choose to use it.
