On my sister’s advice, I submitted a short myth I’d written as background for a novel to Mythic Cirlce, and last week got a very nice email from the editor there - they are going to publish my story in the 2009 edition of the magazine!
Since I haven’t been here in awhile, I’d also like to congratulate everyone here who’s recently been published.

Thanks, all of you! I am still mentally jumping up and down - though I’m a very quiet person usually, and not one to count my chickens, and though I’m not going to believe it’s true until I actually see the magazine. (Also, I’m feeling some pressure to actually finish my novel now - it’s in the very early stages. But that’s probably a good thing-)
