I don’t know if this is a bug. Despite restarting the Mac and reloading Scrivener, it can’t seem to handle me typing without going blank or the cursor jumping around on a blank screen. I emailed a screenshot to scrivener-mac@literatureandlatte.com but am not sure if that email ID exists.

Sorry you are having this issue. Are you sure there is not some sort of hardware issue going on? It might be software–Scriverner or macOS, but you could also perhaps get in touch with Apple Support and have them check out your machine. They have sophisticated diagnostic tools they can run at their store or online with you.
