NanoWriMo 2006

Up to 5,119 words on day two.

Scrivener rules.

I guess everyone was too busy writing to post after Nov 2

How did y’all get on? I used an Alphasmart Dana to do my Nano-novel, so I didn’t need something as powerful as Scrivener at the time - but now I have to edit the darned thing, Scrivener is starting to look like my saviour!

Redfox I completed the NaNo “successfully” and got 50,000+ words.

As I had previously used Word for my scribblings, I was amazed at how much help Scrivener was, and still is, to the way I work. Just being able to move around easily using the left hand pane thingy is a big plus for me. There is, of course, much more to Scrivener than the left hand pane thingy ™.

My NaNo ‘novel’ is now edited down to 15,000 words and I’m hopeful of getting it finished this century.

I was successful as well - then used the MMD->LaTeX export to get myself my one free copy from Lulu (which is fantastic btw).

I’m edting something else in Srivener right now, and considering doing NaNoEdMo on an older NaNovel.
