Navigation Settings and Corkboard

Hiya

I’ve just changed my “Navigation Settings” so that “When in editor mode” I open folders as Scrivenings (in the preferences). Mostly, I just want to edit stuff. I’d like to use corkboard mode just for organising.

But now I cannot figure out how to switch to corkboard mode. The toolbar corkboard is grayed out. The menu’s don’t work. What am I missing?

Cheers,
Brett

The corkboard should be available whenever you have a folder selected, or a document that contains children. It won’t be available if you have Edit Scrivenenings showing arbitrary documents. I’m vastly improving the interaction between Edit Scrivenings, the corkboard and outliner for version 2.0, as these are too often a source of confusion…
All the best,
Keith

Hm. ok. I don’t have any folders yet. I’m just selecting “Draft”, which has all the documents as children. I can’t access the corkboard from here. But if I make a folder underneath it I can.

I’ll just hang in for v2.0 (and I’m happy to pay for an upgrade by the way!)

Cheers,
Brett
