Need A Shortcut for Format > Text > Decrease Hangin Indents

I have a document that somebody transcribed for me. I don’t know why, but all the the paragraphs have about 5 levels of indents from the first line, as in attached screen shot.

In order to correct this and make the paragraphs continuous text, I have to select a block of text and then invoke a series of commands: Format > Text > Increase/Decrease Indents > Decrease Hanging Indents.

For each block of text I want to correct I have to go through the menus like 5 times.

And so far I have not been able to select the entire document in order to execute the series of commands across the board. And it’s a rather long document (over an hour of transcriptions).

Unfortunately, I there does not seem to be a keyboard shortcut assigned to this particular command (such that I could easily invoke a few keystrokes instead of repeatedly and tediously re-navigating through menus.

So can anybody please suggest a better approach to this dilemma?

Thanks,

One way to approach this would be to move the hanging indent marker for the default editor to the left margin (see highlighted marker on the screenshot below), and then apply the default format to the whole document.

Hope this helps!
