When I open Scrivener, I get a message complaining about my backup location (I chose documents initially). First, how do I change the location, and second, where do you recommend? Thx.
Open Preferences and click on the Backup icon. Not that hard to find, really :mrgreen:
The default location for backups is ~/Library/Application Support/Scrivener/Backups
That’s as good as any place, I guess. Unless you want to consider storing them in a cloud service, in which case the recommendation I read is to make sure to compress them as zip files (there’s a checkbox for that in the Backup preferences, too).
