Hi.
I don’t know if it has been doing this for a long time — I only just now noticed, by accident (one I would have preferred to avoid) —, but it seems that you no longer need to double click to rename a snapshot.
Selecting a snapshot from the list and hitting any keys triggers it.
Not sure it is such a good idea.
I was reading from a snapshot, then went on to type a correction in the editor, but meanwhile having forgotten that the focus wasn’t on the editor anymore, all I managed to do (and I noticed too late to hit esc) is to mess up my snapshot’s title.
I see this if I click on the title to select the snapshot, not the date. It appears the cell is activated in a way that allows one to just start typing and overwrite the previous title.
I ran a quick check, and this has been around for a while, at least since 3.1.4. I suspect even longer since I’ve seen similar behaviour in the Replacements table, which is probably a very similar control to the Snapshots list.
Definitely something to fix, and I’ll get it written up, but it probably won’t be in the next update. You should need to either press F2 or double-click to rename a snapshot.
