One feature that would be nice is to make the toolbar icons small (like on the taskbar). Maybe having a ‘netbook’ setting that changed the fonts, icons for least screen use would be nice.
When I use Scrivener on my netbook (so I can work anywhere) I need the smallest icons so I can see the most text. At the moment I turn on and off the toolbar just to regain space.

I’ve played with such settings in various apps and usually achieved nothing significant.
I have to wonder if smaller icons will actually gain a whole line of text.
This is already on the list, and in fact we have smaller versions of all the icons already hand-drawn, so it’s just a matter of implementing it. They might not be as small as you are thinking though. They won’t be MS Word 1996 style icons.
