New Group Icon Fades and Unclickable

Intel 3.06ghz Leopard 10.5.6 4gb ram
scrivener 1.5

330mb file.

After working on a file for a while (an hour or two probably, but not entirely certain how long) the New Group icon goes gray and I cannot select it, nor can I select it from the key commands or the menu. If I quit and open again everything is fine. has happened at least twice, possibly three times.

I have been doing more organizing than writing, so there have been a lot of changes in the structure of the binder.

Easy to deal with (open and shut case so to speak) but my primary concern is whether there is corruption in my file.

Thanks for the kind words!

This sort of thing is unlikely to be down to a corrupt file (in fact it nearly certainly has nothing to do with the file itself). I have heard of something happening to another menu item/toolbar item after Scrivener has been opened for quite some time but have never been able to reproduce it. Next time it happens, could you please take a screenshot (showing how it is greyed out) and also say where the cursor or focus is in the interface at the time? Also try to recall as many actions as you can that led up to the bug occurring. This information will help me try to track it.
