I’m sure this question has been asked already, but i’m tired and not the most computer literate person in the world.

I have a new macbook, i’ve installed scrivener, its asked for my name and serial number, i’ve cut and pasted directly from the orginal invoice and it doesn’t recognise my details. Help!

Copy and paste can inadvertently pick up invisible end-of-line characters, such as spaces or returns. Are you certain that you didn’t accidentally select any such characters?
