If you go to create a New Project and type in something with a colon as a name, the project will be created, but not saved anywhere that I can find. You have to “save as” the project in your desired location. This is possibly also an issue with other “unallowed” symbols in file names.
Also, it seems that it is impossible to create a non-fiction template new project, as the “create” bar is greyed out. I think the template has to have a sub-templates, as is the case for script writing and fiction, or be created blank for it to work.
